How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account, please send an email from the email address associated with your LeloMarket account to developer@lelomarket.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. Include:
- Your full name
- Registered phone number and/or email address
- Optional: Reason for deletion
For security, we may request additional verification (e.g., a one‑time code, brief KYC check) to confirm ownership of the account.
What Will Be Deleted
- Account profile data (name, email, phone, profile photo)
- Listings, favorites, saved searches, and chat threads (subject to dispute holds)
- KYC documents and verification artifacts from active systems once no longer required for legal, regulatory, or fraud‑prevention purposes
What May Be Retained
- Transaction and payment records needed for accounting, tax, chargeback, anti‑fraud, and audit obligations
- Dispute, support, and safety reports where retention is required to protect users or comply with law
- Server logs and backups for a limited period; backups are not edited and expire on schedule
- Aggregated/Anonymized analytics that cannot be used to identify you
Retention Periods
- Financial and transaction records: up to 7 years or as required by applicable law
- Dispute and safety records: up to 5 years or as required by applicable law
- System backups: up to 90 days before automatic purge
Processing Timeline
We aim to deactivate access within 7 days of successful verification and complete deletion from active systems within 30 days. Items retained under legal basis will be held only for the period required and then deleted or anonymized.
